After the crash?

... I assume you mean the incident with Diamond Weapon?

No, I meant when the Meteor almost crash-....

=O

YOU?!

... How little I still know. No matter.

Are you, perhaps, surprised? This is a land of sin.

... Never thought it would go that low though, yo.

Perhaps you underestimate the weight of your own errors, and that of your President's. I see you've noticed him, as well.

Here I thought another familiar face from Shinra would put you at ease.

I know of our errors, old man, don't you go that way. At least we tried ta make up for them back then still.

I do have ta admit being surrounded by strangers is kind of creepy, yo.

....

I did have somethin' I needed ta ask ya.

'Make up for them'? A charming concept, but one suspects that the atrocities we all committed collectively outweigh any efforts you could make to resolve things. I wonder: what remained of Shinra, in the end?

Oh? Go ahead.

We do what we can, yo.

...The boss is helping with the funds for the WRO... And we keep on protecting him while helping fight whatever wicked things show up from under that damned City.

I bet you know 'bout it, don't ya? DeepGround?

...

Did you only if ya ever caught me sleepin' of course, cuz I would have kicked yer ass otherwise, you yukky green head thing lover ever used my cells or whatever to create a clone of mine?...

Correction: Your boss was helping the WRO. Clearly, his time and your time has run out, and you did not do enough while it was possible for you.

Fortunate for me, I suppose.

Yukky green head thing lover? I thought there was a mandatory IQ test for potential Turk recruits. No. I can barely withstand one of you.

... Don't tell me there are two of you.

We are not dead, yo. I will manage ta get out of here and get him out of here too.

Don't gimme that y-

=O

SAY THAT AGAIN TO MY FACE, OLD MAN! DDD<

...

......Hm. Guess not, then. He just likes to immitate my lovely style.

It would make more sense than the faces of the past coming back to life, don't you think? How else do you explain the existence of this place? It's not the Promised Land of the old wives' tales, is it.

Such a temper. You're almost as bad as the failure.

So eager to see me again, though? I'm flattered. I fear most of the familiar faces I've seen have preferred to avoid me.

Mimicry is common amongst primates.

It's a place created to torture living and dead alike, yo.

I'm not afraid of ya, old mad, say that to my face if ya have the guts to. D
[info]a_failed_god wrote:

Then why the sins, Turk? To what end? Think. Why pluck individuals from the middle of life when they haven't had the opportunity to repent for their wrongdoings?

It simply makes more sense that your death was too sudden for you to remember. Perhaps you suffered some severe head trauma. It would explain a great deal more than just why you're here.

I have no particular interest in conflict, kind though the offer is. I don't have such time to waste, even here.

There are kids in here, smart-ass.

I'm not. Fuckin'. Dead. Neither is the Prez, they wouldn't let anyone near him, yo. Say that again.

See? Ya fear the great Reno, yo. Hehe. I could kick yer ass 'nytime.

...Either way, better find shelter, there are monsters 'round, yo.

Children are not exempt from dying by virtue of age. You should know. You dropped the plate, correct?

... Turks. You needn't be concerned for my welfare. I've found myself a secure location, and the monsters are no concern.
